3M Qualitative Saccharin (sweet) Fit Test
Fit testing is required by Australian New Zealand Standard AS/NZS1715 before a user wears a respirator on the job, and should be assessed at least annually. In addition, fit tests should be performed:
AS/NZS1715 doesn’t require fit test administrators to be certified, just to know how to conduct a test, recognize invalid tests, and properly clean and maintain equipment.
- Whenever a different size, style, model or make of respirator is used.
- When any facial changes occur that could affect fit, such as significant weight fluctuation or dental work.

- The biggest contributor to reduced respiratory protection is poor fit. Many common types of respirators are tight fitting where performance relies on a good seal between the respirator and the wearers face.
- A fit test for wearers of tight fitting respirators is now required for compliance to AS/NZS1715:2009.
- Fit testing is to ensure your respirators are working to reduce breathing hazards (like beards, incorrect size etc.).
- You need to have an external or in-house qualified person who carries out regular testing (Every 12 months)
- Workers must be clean shaven to get a good seal between masks and skin.
- Tight-fitting respirators must seal to the wearer’s face in order to provide expected protection. This includes disposable respirators.

Delivery is free for all orders over $100 + GST to most of the Gold Coast, Tweed, Logan, Yatala, and Brisbane area (excludes Brisbane City and other unusual areas).

Customers whose orders travel via external courier, please ensure your order is placed by 2pm to guarantee next day despatch.

RETURNS
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with any purchases you make from this site simply call or email us within 31 days from receipt of the goods. ABL will not accept returns unless we have been notified in this manner.
We will arrange the return of your purchase and replace your order or refund you*. Goods must be returned in the condition you received them.
Return freight will be at ABL’s cost only when there has been an error on ABL’s part. If the error is ours we will cover freight charges for the return of goods. If the fault is not ABL's we will not cover return shipping or refund the original shipping costs.
Please note that special orders and custom made lines will only be replaced or refunded if the error is ours.
Of course, ABL is bound by relevant legislation under the Trade Practices Act (1974). These guidelines are for the protection of your customer rights. Our terms do not override the provisions given by the Trade Practices Act (1974)
*Some returns may incur a 10% re-stocking fee which will be deducted from your refund amount. You will be advised of this when arranging the return.
